About Runway

Established in 1997, Runway Proptech is a privately owned company. Founded in Melbourne, Australia, our USA operation launched in 2019 and is proudly headquartered in Dallas, Texas. Runway is the leading software solution provider for the Australian and USA home builder and property development sector. Runway employs over 40 technicians and developers across Australia, India and the USA.

Our History

Every year, Runway invests more than $2 million in research & development. Starting this year, we are releasing a totally new Runway software platform along with a suite of industry-leading, fully-integrated property apps.

1997

Switched-on group was established in 1997 to develop custom software with a focus on integrating CRM, email marketing and website content management.

1999

We commenced Runway in 1999 as a web application combining CRM, email marketing and website content management. At the time, there were no applications integrating these capabilities.

2005

We switched focus to the property industry and began an R&D effort to develop software that would revolutionize sales, marketing and administration for home builders and developers.

2013

Runway commenced development of our next generation 'S2' platform. A five-year investment that once again revolutionized productivity in the home builder and developer industry.

2016

We relocated to our new R&D and Sales Centre in Flemington, Melbourne and commenced our service and support operations in Bangalore, India.

2019

We commenced operation in Dallas, Texas and now generate over half our revenue from the USA. We are now working with the top 20 builder and developer brands in the United States.

We employ over 50 people directly in Melbourne, Dallas and Bangalore and work together as one team developing and supporting our cutting edge software.
